pink floyd - Echoes, but closer to the pompeii versions; Axe Eugene i could imagine being unbelievable...
what about opeth modernizing some 80's floyd like Learning to Fly or High Hopes? i could imagine marooned with a bit of a dark opeth twist added to it and actual harmonics instead of those stupid fucking fake effects.
