Cradle of Filth are SHIT on record......BUT

Hmm. I think they're better in the studio than live. Dani has a lot of voices but he has a harder time of duplicating the deep ones and his growl is weaker on stage. Saw them three times and it was the same result each time. I did read somewhere that he has to hold back a lot of his vocals on stage so he doesn't blow his vocal chords out, which the shrieking would surely do.

haha, last time he was here all he'd do besides singing was cuss out Sweden because of Svennis.

He does that everywhere he goes. He did it in Italy at Evolution Fest because Italy won the World Cup. Then he got pissed at last year's MetalCamp and threw all the ventilation fans at the fans because they wanted to hear Motorhead, who was headlining that night.

CoF put on a GREAT show, but that night Dani had no voice whatsoever. I thought his mic was cutting in and out but it was his voice...it was completely gone. The high pitched screams? Only silence.

But they fucking slayed Evolution Festival two years ago, and he was fucking with the crowd really harshly...basically pissing on everyone there, but it was hilarious!!! That's who he is...that's his stage act. If you speak to the guy, he's actually pretty cool. European metal fans are typically a bunch of fucking pansies who get their panties in a bunch when people talk shit. Especially the fucking Swiss. I remember someone was waving a Swiss flag and he said, "PUT THAT FUCKING THING AWAY, YOU NEUTRAL FUCKING PIECE OF SHITE!!!" Then he started slagging the French and said, "Where's a French flag?" Just as he said that, a big toilet paper roll flew in the air and he said, "OH WAIT, THERE IT IS!!!!"

Sure he's a prick...but Yngwie is a bigger prick but all the guitarists suck his cock like he's Jesus because he can play a million miles an hour.

Actually most guitarists think he is a pompous cunt.

Being a guitarist, I do too. But every time I see him, I see thousands of people lose their minds. For me, Yngwie is a walking instructional video, that's about it. Never liked his stuff.

I'd rather watch Dino. I guess you can tell I'm mainly a rhythm guitarist.

 His instructional vids are the worst. "And now I'm going to spend 2 hours playing some pretentious shit you'll never be able to play, and I'm not going to slow it down or tell you how to play it because I don't want to because I'm a fat swedish thundercunt"

I still fucking love CoF...up to Midian they were great.

It was never black metal and I never looked at it as black metal...Cruelty Brought Thee Orchids is one of my favorite metal songs of all time.

Didn't you say you liked Patsy Cline? That's something that's extremely rare these days...a fairly young person who is familiar with someone from so long ago in a completely different style of music. I, too, like old country music because it was real...they sang from their heart and were excellent musicians.

It probably helped that I grew up on it, though.

meh, he says your mom is dumb for not listening to metal and for mistaking two things that SHOULD TOTALLY BE OBVIOUS... what does will know anyways
that's beside the point.

(and i actually did tell her "We're going to see this band called Candlemass in New York on Will's birthday" yesterday. she's just crazy. on occasion, she'll beg me never to become an atheist. nevermind that i told her that i didn't believe in God at the age of seven or anything :Smug: )

i love patsy cline, frank sinatra, blood sweat & tears... a lot of my dad's favorite music, which i pretty much grew up with. patsy cline and willie nelson, all kinds of classic r&b, classical, opera, etc etc etc

sinatra is up there with carcass and nevermore and all as far as my favorite music.

Actually the hardest thing Yngwie does are those scale runs.

Especially the one before the solo in I Am A Viking; fucking retarded.
