Crappy Band You Listen To

I sort of like some crappy 80s pop songs.
Same here. Pet Shop Boys, Phil Collins, Depeche Mode, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Tears For Fears, OMD, Roxette, ...

80s music has a sort of sentimental value for me. I grew up with that stuff. My older brother would tape songs off the radio, and we'd listen to his cassettes in the car when we went on a holiday. :dopey:

I like some Depeche Mode, and I know some of my cds are crappy by RC standards but they still rule. I don't know really, I still own the first Legenda album which quality is pretty below ground, but hell it has a fun atmosphere ("Luciette, I love you so!" - )

Yes, but Depeche Mode cannot be considered crappy. At least not by anyone with a brain.

with me, this kind of shit doesn't apply.

i mean i've seen justin timberlake in concert and have not only lived to tell the tale, but actually had a good time. i listen to what i listen to, and that's all there is to it.

The new John Mayer Trio is actually good!!! This is coming from somebody who, if seeing Mayer walking down the street a year ago, I would have blasted him in the face. That;s how much I hat ethe fuckker. But, evidently he is rebelling against the music industry and creating a so-called "career suicide" according to the mainstream. He now plays bluesy rock music, in the vein of BB King, Hendrix, etc...It really is pretty damn good, and I would be the LAST person to admit that!!!

I girl once told me that she saw a backstreet boys concert, and referred to it as "AWESOME". Then I said "we can't be friends anymore."

promptly she said "wanna bet? *fondles boobs*"

damn she was good at calling a bluff.

I wouldn't say I own any cds from crappy bands, because I sell the ones I deem crappy (Kayo Dot), and keep the asskickery ones.

I do listen to country music when in the car with my wife, and enjoy some of those tunes.

Dunno, 95% of my CDs are metal, and as we all know, metal is more relevant than anythig else, so.....

Yeah yeah, I only listen to things I like, blah blah blah. Let's see...things I listen to that people here would consider crappy? I own some Nirvana, Bush, Cream, Varttina, and of course, Misantropical Painforest. Oh, and a good bit of anime soundtrack stuff.

Seriously . . .

I even saw them live.

Seriously . . .

Not crappy at all. We listen to them around here, I could have seen them like 6 months ago but I for some reason passed it up!

- i still own a lot of my nu-metal and pop punk stuff, but I've decided to keep a bunch of it for sentimental value

so yea... still got 3 or 4 Blink-182 albums (and I don't mind em that much, as some of you may know), some Limp Bizkit (I think these ones are gonna be among the first to go), and uh.. a bunch of other crap.

i like a lot of that old pop stuff, but i dont know it well, i'd probably buy some though, sooner or later.
