Creed reunites

I hope vegetables grow some wings when they make their appearance. BUT, people really suck too.

No, these people wouldn't give it all away and start fresh. I hope Mark Tremonti has good reflexes, some veggies are more aerodynamic than others.

:kickass: Live on, Alter Bridge.

What?

Figures of speech. If I was them I would announce my impending bankruptcy because of my intent on giving away my riches to charity.

Probably keep the guitar though. Maybe someone would like it for free. But yeah, Alter Bridge's new album kicks ass, should listen to it again speaking of which...

I had one of their albums, now it's gone, I'm pretty sure I threw it at someone somewhere...years ago...

what's next, 98 degrees reforms??!

As straight up rock, I kinda always tolerated Alter Bridge. Their singer has a really good voice and they wrote catchy tunes. Stapp made about a million guys realize that they could sing just like him if they stay in the same octave all the time.

Myles Kennedy was the only redeeming factor in Alter Bridge, save for a few of Tremonti's solos. I've always thought of him as a really good guitarist, but he lacks that certain something that sends him into the category of greatness.

Myles Kennedy and his voice on the other hand... holy fuck. Dude has to be one of the best rock singers ever. EVER.

I do thoroughly enjoy both Alter Bridge albums.

Rumor is that he may be trying out for Velvet Revolver.

I hope he doesn't and continues doing his own thing. I prefer AB to VR any day.

Did any of you ever see that horrendous VH1 Behind the Music about Creed a few years ago? Stapp's holy roller WASP parents praising him for "getting God's word out to millions of people" was the perfect nail in their coffin.

Well, we thought they were dead, at least and had a few years of peace.

wasn't there a video of Scott Stapp trying to write a solo album and it had a camera angle of this lyrics on a piece of paper and he had mis-spelt half the words?

Wasn't he also involved with Led Zeppelin in some small way? I vaguely remember reading that in a Guitar World magazine recently...

He was vying for the vacant vocalist position until they axed the reunion idea altogether.

They probably axed the idea just to get Stapp off their asses. I read somewhere that stated Creed was basically grunge for rednecks, jocks, and airheads who didn't have the artistic appreciation for grunge's initial push.

Summed it up quite nicely, I think.
