CRYPTOPSY: New Song Available For Download - Feb. 24, 2005 A pre-production recording of a new CRYPTOPSY track, entitled "Carrionshine", has been posted online in MP3 format at this location (5 MB).

"Carrionshine" is scheduled to appear on the Canadian death metallers' fifth album, which will be recorded over the summer for a late 2005 release via Century Media Records. "Each song has a very unique identity and some of the material is a progression from what you’ve heard from CRYPTOPSY in the past," the band recently about the new compositions. "The album concept has a very distinct beginning and end."

Sounds pretty crafty to me, they could have released a better unmixed recording though. The tracks are kinda muffeled as compared to others unmixed pre production tracks. The drums are off the hook! Lord Worm is BACK! He has changed nothing with his vocals, it is pure Cryptopsy. The whammy bar work is awsome. I am a big fan of snapping that shit.

I was pretty disappointed.
Music seemed to boring for them & I never liked Lord Worm back in the day & it seems like I'm still not gonna, but I'm not gonna fully judge it till I hear the good sounding shit

I dont think its going to get any more different than this, all there songs will pretty much sound the same with the odd kinks and sounds they make with their bass and guitars.
