Cyanide - Metallica

Hmm, ok I guess, has a kinda cool groove to it. Lets face it though, if anyone else other than Metallica had put this out, nobody would give a shit, its hardly adventurous stuff. Nice to see Lars has finally decided to learn a new drum technique; some double kicks in there. The glory days are definitely long, long gone imo.

Im not the kinda guy that usualy complain on metallicas new stuff like most people, but damn, this song totally sucks.

At least is better than St Anger. And this is suppose to be the worst song in the album.

If its the weakest song on the album, you wonder why they decided to play it live over the others :goggly:

Because they probably didnt want to show you the best song on the album before they start the tour for it?
It makes sence to me.

Thats generally what happens though isn't it in the music business? Except its called a single, normally the strongest, or one of the strongest tracks which is released before the album.

Regardless, I'm guessing there are going to be 12 songs, a lot to pick from anyway.

Pretty cool!

I really want to hear the studio recording of this one.. hopefully the album will be more rock-like like reload.

What amazes me when I think about Metallica and how painfully boring their music has become, is that Slayer was around just as long if not a couple years longer and they are still heavy as shit.
Metallica on the other hand.... I'm not sure how to put it other than they bore me to the point that I feel like I should be wearing a helmet and drooling on my bib.

I also have to say ....and many times he was always over looked

but Jason Newsted(i think thats how u spell it) was crucial to this band

not only was he mostly there whole live show with his huge neck and chanting HEYS through out the show

but he did Alot of vocals with james so i guess really i just miss that dude
