D.T. in U.S.?

Ok, since I've heard that members of D.T. actually read this board, this is for the band. I've heard talks of you guys touring, or atleast visiting, the U.S., but it hasn't happened. I'm sure there are fans in the U.S. (some on this message board) who would happily travel far distances to see a D.T. show in the states. Hell, I'll meet you half way....you come to the states and I'll see your show anywhere, preferable California though. I'll even bring friends. Everyone I've introduced to D.T. absolutely loves your music....no surprise. Thanks for your time.

Hi,

here is from an interview I did a while ago:

We'd love to play in the states, but I think that there's some kind
of curse preventing it to happen. We've had lots and lots of
US tours planned and cancelled in the very last minute due to
various reasons; sudden money problems (the In flames tour
about a year ago - we were even on some of the posters for that
one), lack of time for getting visas in order (the Cradle of filth/Nile
tour last summer that we were supposed to join; we got the
offer about a week too late and the application fee for visas is
non-refundable even if you don't get them in time), no current
album available (the recent Moonspell/Lacuna coil tour) and so on.

This year only we've said yes to five different US tours and none
of them have finally happened, so we're pretty annoyed with the
situation too. If it would have been up to the band only, we
would have made the debut US tour years ago, but as you know
there are lots of different factors that decide weather a band
eventually gets included on a tour or not, and unfortunately it's
almost always beyond our control.

Anyway, I'm sure something will happen sooner or later, so
let's hope for the best

You guys in california have it made. US bands don't even come to West Virginia, let alone bands from Europe. Hell, Tool is from West Virginia, and they don't even play here!

California is a very populated state. It has many famous and non-famous metal bands of its own. Yeah, I agree, we Californians have it made.

Yeah I can imagine how it would suck to be in those kinds of states where nothing comes over. Luckily us Californians have places like San Fran where it happens to be a usual tour stop for the European bands, going there to see Amon Amarth and Marduk in February
