Twenty-seven tracks of furious crust core with death metal touches. TOTAL TERROR consists of Dan “Kulan” Swanö: all guitars and lead vocals, Andreas “Drette” Axelson: bass and additional vocals, and Benny “Bempa” Larsson: drums and additional vocals. All three are founding members of progressive death metal pioneer EDGE OF SANITY. Recorded in the late 90’s at Unisound (Edge Of Sanity, Opeth, Katatonia), and mixed and mastered in 2008 by Dan Swanö at the re-activated Unisound Studios, Örebro, Sweden.

Old school Swedish death metal performed by Swedish death metal veterans!!! TORTURE DIVISION performs aggressive yet catchy and 100% pure and intense death metal. TORTURE DIVISION is: vocalist / bassist Jörgen Sandström (Vicious Art, ex Grave and Entombed, The Project Hate), Lord K. Philipson on guitars (The Project Hate, Odyssey, Dark Funeral (live) and God Among Insects) and Tobias Gustafsson on drums (Vomitory / God Among Insects). The TORTURE DIVISION debut album (consisting of the band’s first trilogy of demos and the 7” x-mas single called “Suffer the shitmass”) is entitled 'With Endless Wrath We Bring Upon Thee Our Infernal Torture' and will be released by Vic Records only on LP. The Bereaved new album out 6 April featuring Travis Neal!!!

Brand new (second) album of Örebro, Sweden based modern metal band THE BEREAVED. THE BEREAVED performs powerful melodic death metal, the Swedish style. Trademarks are the intense screams and extremely beautiful and catchy clean vocals by Travis Neal (also vocalist in US based DIVINE HERESY) plus the great lead guitars and keyboards. The album ‘Daylight Deception’ was recorded at Studio Underground with Pelle Saether (Carnal Forge, Manegarm, Zonata). Dan Swanö (Opeth, Katatonia, Bloodbath) mixed and mastered the album at Unisound Studios, Sweden.

The Torture Division CD is on it's way to me in the mail (from Abyss Records), as is the Ribspreader, and I'll be all OVER that Total Terror album when it's out!

Probably won't touch The Bereaved with a ten foot pole, though.
 
NEW HEARSE ALBUM!!!

‘Single Ticket to Paradise’ is HEARSE’s brand new fifth full length album. Formed in 2001 shortly after Johan Liiva left ARCH ENEMY and joined forced again with his long-time buddy Max Thornell. The two used to be in the legendary act FURBOWL in the early 90’s. HEARSE are definitely one of the highlights of the death ‘n roll metal sub genre. Johan’s charismatic vocals, the never ending and ultra melodic leads by guitar player Matthias Ljung and the pounding and effective drums by Max, makes HEARSE an unique band within the wide metal borders. The album is produced by Dan Swanö (Opeth, Katatonia, Dissection).
The album has a bonus DVD 'Live In Holland' containing 5 live tracks, filmed and edited by Maurice Swinkels (Legion of the Damned), a massive picture chapter and the video for the track 'Sundown', edited by Owe Lingvall (Nocturnal Rites, Wolf, Stratovarius). Andreas, you should make more death metal, maybe the death metal bug will be contagious and Dan will make some too ;)
 
The Infestdead double CD, remastered by Dan and containing the 2 full lenght albums, the mini cd and 2 demo tracks will be out in a few months. Really!

Odyssey, is somethig different......As you know, or might know, Dan will record some of his all time fave cover songs, he also will remaster the original 3 mini CD tracks and put em all together. This will be a semi new full lenght. Dan is in the pre production phase with recording the cover songs. We will keep you up dated when there is some more info to share!

For sure, both albums (Infestdead double album & Odyssey full lenght) will be KILLER albums!
 
New Ribspreader is indeed excellent. I noticed Ribspreader recorded an unreleased cd untitled 'Serenity in Obscurity' which is suppose to be released under the name Sleipner's Hooves on VIC records, does this plan on being released anytime soon and is there any mp3s or info on it ?. I'd like to hear this(produced by Dan!).
 
The songs we recorded for "Serenity in obscenity" will be used as bonus material for the 2cd reissue of the first two Ribspreader albums, wich VIC will release sometime late this year.
Also that reissue will contain the demo/rehearsal compilation we released on Obliteration records and also all EP´s and suff we´ve done.
