DAR Amps impulse loader box?

Yeah this company has really dropped the ball on updates and keeping up with stated release/announcement dates.

*edit* just got an fb response to a wall post, I guess they're working on the internal software on it now.

I am very interested in this product for use with my tube amps. I have communicated in the email about a month ago, and they tell me you should be ready for January. I hope so, because seeing the delay by the lack of time , if this delay persist, I will have to choose to buy the Torpedo of two notes.

Someone have news about Jocke Load Box (FBM-XL )?????

A greeting.

Looks like maybe someone will (or has) beat them to it

Yes. The Torpedo Live could be a great option. I will wait until January to see if it finally comes out Jocke Box and its characteristics. If not come out in January he choose to Torpedo Live.

Any news about the price of Live Torpedo??
I hope it's cheaper than the VB101 ??????

The official page above says :

"Availability : Q1 2012
Price : TBA"

And Guillaume from Two Notes said it would be cheaper than the VB-101, but i don't know how cheaper though...

Also he said this in this thread : http://www.rig-talk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=75&t=103561

"The live is a "light" version of the vb_101. We will publish the full functionalities soon, but the main differences are :

- no overload or varihphi parameter
- no graphical display
- less weight
- 1U rack
- reactive loadbox
- less I/Os (no AES for example)
..."

I'm still very curious about the DAR loadbox / Jocke box thing (which is the thread original topic), so let's not hijack this thread more :)

Thank you very much.

Hey Guys,

Yes, we have stereo 10k point IR's with under 3ms latency. The Technology is Intense and Quite Exacting Stuff we apologize for the latency at DAR...
The new website is near completion and very much focused on the FBM line of gear...
Keep an eye out for us! Good things are coming!

I have many like this available Jocke Load Box.

I guess I will have distribution in Europe and there will have to order directly from USA?

with due respect, it's always the same, companies announce a product, everybody is stoked and then
damn NOTHING happens and everything is super sercret and there is absolutely no info...

i can't imagine that the "not yet finshed website" is holding everything back,
so what is it!?

cheers

According to their facebook page they are currently shipping out the Thordendahl signature heads (without impulse feature) and are going to build the first run of preamp pedals afterwards (with impulse feature).
Right now it sounds like they have finished the development.

I still have a preamp pedal on order, second run though, so I assume I'll be waiting a few more months at least.

That's very sad. not just for the impulse loader but the company in general. they seemed to be coming up with innovative ideas and features..
