this is my first trip down Darkthrone's Transylvanian Hunger, and, even though im only at track #4, i must say... this is really fuckn cool... this atmosphere is hypnotic..

im dying to hear A Blaze In the northern Sky... but ive heard Under a Funeral Moon, and i don't think its quite as good as Transilvanian Hunger :\ i thinks its the production.. but i dunno... theres something terrifying and cold about TH that UAFM doesn't have (hrm.. or rather, its there, but not as in your face)

Transilvanian Hunger is fundamentally different from anything Darkthrone has ever done. The riffing is much different than anything before it.
But still, isn't Soulside Journey their best?

Transylvanian Hunger and Ravishing Grimness are my ultimate favorites. I get the impression that most don't care for RG all that much, and I honestly don't know why: it's a fucking killer album if you ask me ("yeah, but no one DID ask you retard").

I dunno, to me Ravishing Grimness sounds very redundant and not that inspired in the songwriting department. I've been thinking of getting rid of my copy.
