Dave Mustaine Live Wire.

Haven't had a chance to, although I work across the parking lot from Seymour Duncan and he's actually invited me to cruise over to their building (very nice guy.) These pickups mildly interest me, but they are 18v so you will need two batteries. I can't really imagine better tone than an EMG 85, so I fail to see the need... but perhaps I could be proven wrong if I gave them a real try. When I do, I'll post my thoughts here.

That's what they're being marketed as, but, unless they changed it, word was from Seymour that it was a beefed up Custom.
so I'm wondering if it gots a A5 or a ceramic magnet?
I really like to hear how it compares to the EMG 85!
