I know this isn't NEVERMORE (but I'll try to make it) related but I'm posting this anyway. Went to the show with my girlfriend Shannon, and my friend Lowrey "Wooz", his wife Kim, and our friend and "brother" Jamie. Shannon and I got to Annie's about 7:15 pm and she remembered seeing NEVERMORE here with me and my friend Josh. At 7:30 pm, local band "Prizoner" comes on. (I don't know if it's the same band, but I have a "flyer" from around 1988-1989 when I saw Aerosmith on the "Permanent Vacationa' tour with Dokken opening supporting "Back For The Attack", at "The Gardens" in Cincinati, Ohio; and it mentions the band Prizoner playing at the club Bogart's along with David T. Chastain, Lizzy Borden, etc...) Anyway, Prizoner opens with "Click, Click, Boom" by Saliva and it was horrible. They also played like 3 originals that didn't interest me and also played other covers including: "Love Removal Machine/ The Cult (decent, but the singer fucked up), Aerosmith's "Sick As A Dog" & "Toys In the Attic" (good), Kix "Sweet Jane" (I think that's the title, it was interesting), AC/DC/"Have A Drink On Me" (good), Porno For Pyro's/"Been Caught Stealing (horrible), and Iron Maiden/ Run To The Hills (decent). I think Prizoner also did some Lenny Kravits, 3 Doors Down, and Rage Against The Machine, but I'm not 100% sure. Prizoner was a 4 piece with a singer who looked like Mike Reno of Loverboy, a guitarist who looked like somebody from Puddle of Mud, and a bass player and drummer I don't remember what they looked like other than having crew cuts. No sir not my cup of tea. They quit at about 8:45.

Dave and band came on around 9:15 pm and stopped around 10:45pm (a good solid 90 minutes). I thought they kicked ass. Here is the set list on a C.D. already made by somebody at the show Friday. CHECK THIS SHIT OUT:

Again, like the Ft. Wayne show, sound is good but not great due to the recording equipment, but it's all there. Unfortunately the audience is LOUD and the vocals were a little soft, but still some great stuff. Dave's added some new one-liners and there's a nice new little jam in "Unchained" as well. For those of you that were there, and anyone else, enjoy!

Disc 1 -

01 - Hot For Teacher

02 - Mean Street

03 - Just Like Paradise

04 - Runnin' With The Devil

05 - Eruption/You Really Got Me

06 - California Girls

07 - Somebody Get Me A Doctor

Disc 2 -

01 - And The Cradle Will Rock

02 - Just A Gigolo/I Ain't Got Nobody

03 - Unchained

04 - Goin' Crazy

05 - Shoo Bop

06 - Theme From Shaft/Panama

07 - Dance The Night Away

08 - Yankee Rose

09 - Ice Cream Man

10 - Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love

11 - Jump

Covers will come later today. One last note: Brian had some equipment problems when he tried to play the intro to "And The Cradle Will Rock", and as a result, Dave calls out the band and lets them know that he's the only one "allowed" to screw up! I didn't record where Brian screws up, but came in right when Dave starts talking about it, so if you're wondering, that's what happened. Enjoy it!
