Daytona

Jeff might want to go, but he doesn't have a job this go round. So he might not have the money to make it.
 
Saturday Jeff was fully aware of what's up.

He said he is going to try to get a job soon so he can come.

So we ARE shooting for that last week of August then?! Because that's what I put in for ;)
 
good to hear about Jeff trying to find a job. as far as that date it's fine with me. I honestly am already counting down I'm so pumped. there is one potential hiccup however, the real estate market is fucking terrible down here and my uncle is having a fire sale on his properties. I'm not saying that I won't have a house or some kind of place to put you guys up but it might be harder.

Yeah, Mike has a point. We were discussing buying tickets sometime in the next couple of weeks. If not everyone who wants to come can buy their ticket now, it's not really a big deal - we can always take separate planes and meet up down there. As long as the second wave of people all get on the same flight I don't think it would be too crazy.

Mike, did you look into flying directly to the Daytona airport from Allentown? Jon or Seawall or someone told me that might be cheaper OSS (or some shit).

We also need to know how many people are coming so we can think about a rental car. If a bunch of people are coming we may need 2 cars or a large van to accommodate everyone. :err:
 
ok, as on right now, March 21st @ 9:19pm, through Expedia.com

the cheapest is $182 per person (subject to change as the date gets closer)
but right now the cheapest is to leave Fri Aug. 24th in the morning, anywhere from 7:30ish to 9:30ish; (must consider traffic and airport security...)
we would get to FL in the afternoon like 1/1:30ish.

the cheapest flights are from Philly to Orlando throughout all of the sites i checked (expedia, hotwire, travelocity, orbitz...etc)

didnt look at rental cars yet cause you all suck at getting back on what you wanna do(which may result in you on another flight for more money:cry: )

but those are the cheapest flights right now and they go up all the time, i check back 3mins later and it went up $5...

lets get this shit going cause mikey's not trying to spend a lot to get there but a lot down there. :)

Yeah Mikey, I can give you $100 tomorrow. Then another $100 the first Friday of April. I think the rental car rates are a little bit more solid aren't they?

Was it that much more to leave Thursday night? :(
 
well it depends on how much you guys wanna spend...it would be another $40as of right now...so $222 per person. brendan said theres some sorta cheap ass rate going from Allentown to Daytona if we wait but in my past 2 years of experience that is the opposite of how it went but...he and i are gonna both keep looking into that. but i would like to get it done soon. i wouldnt mind $222 for thurs evening, aug, 23rd... i imagine LUIS, VINCE, and MYSELF will be going on a flight together...has anyone talked to JEFF? DAVE?

and yes vinnie the rental car $$$ is pretty much standard. going for type, how long we use it, underage fee per day...the usual.
