Started in my right wrist, used a few different ball style mouse then I got a logitech lazer but all the strain has gone to my neck. I've been a big slouch in posture so I know I could fix that. I've got some big sessions coming up so I'd like to try to get rid of this or at least not make things worse.

I tried using a touch pad (wacom) but I didn't groove on it AT ALL. I'm thinking a vertical mouse next...

Any suggestions?

I've got RSI and unfortunately for me there isn't a quick fix. Or even a complete fix, I have to live with the fact I can never play the guitar properly again, and I'm only 27. And I made it worse by playing 2 gigs when I couldn't actually form a fist with my fretting hand, I don't know if it's the same for you, but I suggest a complete break for a while, and pay the ridiculous amounts the specialist want to treat you.

And if you must work a doctor suggested cortozone, (not sure how to spell it) which gives you about 3 months of pain free activity before it wears off and you need to take more. But too much cotozone can be dangerous, it can even kill you, however a few shots to get you through shouldn't be a risk if you must work through it. That is only a temporary solution, you really do need to just stop what you are doing.

Maybe your problem isn't as severe as mine, but I would give anything to have my old arms back

Either Taylor guitars or some company sponsored by them makes a tool that's the opposite of those gripper tools. It's got bands on all of your fingers and applies resistance from OPENING the hand. It's used to flex those little muscles we musicians pay no attention to whatsoever, that get worked less and less than the closing muscles. It's like $50 but it'd be worth it if it helped to fix (or at least lessen) RSI, etc.
