dear NY GIANTS

He has been clocked quick, close to if not matching or exceeding his previous times since the injury, and the blocking will come, very few college backs are terribly good blockers. Damn right break away speed isn't everything, but when he gets to the second level, something exceedingly easy to do with a misdirection running style in a two back, split shotgun set, he can juke just about anyone and has enough strength to kindly escort d-backs to the prone position. I'm just imagining the runs that Henry had that gained 10 to 12 yards resulting in a house call with the ball in McGahee's hands.

To address Bledsoe's foot speed, I'm thinking a spread, three step, quick throw offense where he gets the ball out of his hands quick, the last place you want the ball for extended periods of time is Bledsoe's hands, get rid of the damned ball. He won't get anymore open. That and with the two backs, play action gives him a ton of time where he can show off the cannon and throw post routes 40 yards on a line. Well, folks, I'm off to NC state, wish me luck, or at least a return trip.

Ehh, 42-0 isn't bad I guess. Nils got pushed down a lot early on, but on later kickoff returns, he held his own against that rough-and-tumble Wolfpack.

To correct Ben, I was only laid out once and it was on kick return team and I was slowing up because it was a touchback and I could swear it was after the whistle but we were in Raleigh so I don't expect that call. I actually only hit the ground twice and once was because I cut blocked some cornerback (it was legal) on an inside running play. Also, I beat one of their corners deep on a fade even though it was just a run off route. I'd have to say, not bad for a walkon from NJ who was only recruited at the D3 level. Overall, I don't think I've ever had more fun playing football, I hope we always have hostile crowds of 57,000 strong at games.
