death metal with mildly gorie lyrics, not so gorie artwork

ok, i'm only mentioning cannibal corpse because i find their artwork to be more comical than anything else, and i can't really take their lyrics seriously, so can anyone tell me any other bands kind of like them, or Putrid Pile, or Mortician (bad example) i guess what i'm saying is i'm not too into the extremely gross artwork or extremely disgusting lyrics, but a littles ok, if anyone knows what the hell i'm talking about and can offer suggestions, please do.

Check out Carcass. They have vocals like CC and the album covers are less gruesome; as well as the lyrics being a bit more meaningful.

And I hope you know there are censored covers for Cannibal Corpse.
