On DotR, Janick is generally in your right ear, Dave is in the left, and Adrian is in center left (and sometimes plain center, depending on the song!).

Dave's sound is much more 'rounded' than Adrian's. Adrian is a metal player, while Dave is much more rooted in the blues. Dave is also much more fluid.

I actually like Jan's playing on DotR, amazingly.

I must say Janick's work on Tattooed Millionaire is top notch, though. I think it's just live that he suffers horribly, because I like his studio work with Maiden as well.
