Back in Flushing, NY for good!
ok, so which fellow Atlantans (or area ppl) will be attending this event?

Anybody?

I'll be there - I've yet to meet any of you fellow ATL Progpower people, or metal people for that matter! Would be nice to!

ah, the "tasting glass"... it's more like a dixie cup from what i've heard of years past. wouldn't one need to be slam drunk to enjoy the likes of a "bobby yang?"

you would think the organizers would understand this critical issue.

EDIT - tolerate the likes of a "bobby yang."

This is the glass from 2004. I'd say it holds 2 oz.

He's no Apocalyptica, but my wisecrack stands corrected... one would not need to be completely lit to listen to this Bobby Yang do his rock fiddlin'. Thanks for that.

In a perfect world the person holding that glass is an 11ft giant... but you know, that's not *nearly* as bad as I'd been led to believe. So I may go to this... appreciate the added info!

Prolly 6 oz, they use something similar at the Old Dominon Beer Festival in Ashburn VA. And trust me, with the breweries bringing out their higher ABV stuff, $20 will get you a good buzz.
It really is close to 2oz. It took four and a half of those to fill a 9oz water bottle.
