Anyway, listening to the 2nd D&W right now....and my goodness, it sucks balls. What a wasted effort. Before going to press, surely they must have listened to the final product in complete disappointment. This album should have been shelved until better material came along.

They were never even in the same room together... and it shows. The first disc, albeit not spectacular, showed promise. The second disc was pure shit.

Agreed - I dug a couple songs off the second one initially and then my interest waned dramatically. It was a rushed product that felt more like an obligation than an inspiration.

I'm guessing both Jon and Hansi knew how much effort needed to go into both their respective bands in the short term future and basically had a "now or never" attitude about D&W 2. I doubt we'll see a D&W 3 anytime soon, if not ever.
