Once I was hanging out at my friend Vin's house, and I was using his Limewire, 'cause I can't download stuff on my computer, and when I clicked on the LW icon, it wouldn't open, it wouldn't even highlight. So I was like what the fuck..
Turns out he took a screen shot of how he had his desktop, then set it as his desktop, and moved all the icons some place else. Best fucking idea ever. However wincingly annoying it is when your trying to click the damn things.

^not for me, i tested to see how it performed before and after using many programs and just watching how my system performed. My computer has never froze once. Ever. Even though I've only had it for about a year, i've had no problem running windows blinds in the background.
