I'm sorry, I just had to make a topic on how drop-dead fucking amazing and catchy this song and album (Head On To Heartache) are.

Devildriver's always been way up there in terms of favorite bands for me, how about you guys? :kickass:

I find this album to be pretty boring. I remember reading a short article with the guitarists and they said they wanted to make a more accessible (i.e. commercial) sounding record...As such, I find it more hard rock and less metal in the guitar work. If the drums were a bit tamer, this wouldn't be metal much at all, IMO.

tbh devildriver = 40% drums, 40% vocals, 20% guitars anyway, fucking catchy shit

Judging from everything i've heard from them so far they're very pro but very boring/unexciting IMO.

Just checking out some guitar world lessons with them at now and it doesn't make me wanna listen to their stuff again.

According to the credits in the booklet, this track was produced by Jason Suecof and mixed by Andy Sneap. Therefore, it is a b-side from The Last Kind Words recording sessions, and is only available on the Hot Topic edition of the album and also as bonus track on the special edition of Pray for Villains. Latest album is a big step up -- and I really like Logan Mader's production.

Production on the newest disc is top notch, but I find the songs boring as fuck. It's a lot more rock than it is metal and it doesn't work for DD, IMHO.

To me their records are a bit boring too.

BUT I saw them live a few weeks ago and they had an awesome stage show.
The moshpit at their concert was insane! :kickass:
