My mother is Italian and we have satellite receiver to watch italian channels so I've watched my share of Italian dubbed movies/series and all I can say is that it's painful to watch (like any other dubbing), totally ruins it for me. I even read books in English to avoid stupid Greek translation....

As far as Dexter goes I'll start watching the first season today...so let me get back to you on that

As far as dubbing goes Italian may be the best but in no way you can compare it to the original...because....well it's the original..

Seriously Adam Sandler is a hell of comedian but his voice sucks so badly, the italian dubber is a 1000 times better lol
Just to make it clear I love to wath stuff in english too

Translated? OMG, go watch it in Englsih + subtitles. Translations should be banned. They kill the actors' performance, mood, etc.

I agree 1029023% with you there dex. Of course I can watch english or spanish movies with no subtitles and not a problem, but I even prefer watching original language with subtitles in any other language, It just looks and feels soooo fake when it's dubbed, be it a good dubber or not.

yea, deb bugs the fuck outta me and when i heard that they were married i was all disappointed in michael c hall. but then, if she bugs me that much, it probably means she's just a really good actress

and from what you guys are all saying about season 3 is making me not want to watch it... i'm already thinking dexter is puss'ing out all throughout season 2, if he goes any further it might fuck up the whole series for me
