I'm just glad that Opeth's videos might be on TV again. When my nephew's over I gotta' watch HBB on MTV2 sometimes, bleh.

Even if the video is far from amazing, Some 'peth is better than Nopeth.

to be honest, the video itself really isnt bad, but i just dont like the song for some reason....the sounds are cool, but it seems like every part of the song is out of place, as if the song wasnt fully recorded cuz u can always listen back and fill in some of the quiet parts...plus i think it needed a better intro.

It wasn't bad, but it wasn't very good. But I'm not a fan of music videos really.. I didn't like the direction.. I liked the artistic style of the video.. It just doesn't seem very fitting for opeth.

I liked it for a metal video. But its not the reason I like Opeth so I probably will not watch or see that video much after the first view. I wish one of the great music video directors like Spike Jonze or Floria Sigismondi would do a extreme metal video....

I doubt the video has much to do with the song's story. Someone said (that Mike said) the lyrics would never be printed because they are too personal, so I doubt Mike told the director it was about his fantasy of being in a castle with 2 bisexual women.

The bisexual part kinda jumped out of nowhere. A wtf moment indeed.

The whole lesbian stuff on tv is getting old... they are everywhere... two stupid girls kissing/snogging (not on pornos) it's like... they are everywhere now, it's like, as if it's 'in' to be a lesbo... to show lesbos kissing on TV/soups/whatever... even music videos are full of 'em. I find it annoying and pointless... and very sad that people have to show shit like that to make the video a bit more interesting or get some hype so people would watch that crap.

It's really not as bad a video as everyone here thinks. I don't know why everyone's making such a big deal about that little peck between the two girls. I didn't think it was all that erotic or anything. I think they were trying to juxtipose the decadence of the earlier period with the decrepit old man returning.

I think a better video would have just been to brightly light the castle and focus on really nice shots of the architecture and stuff with the band playing. Don't bother with much of a storyline.

The best video from Opeth is Harvest. This new one is good rather than poor. But I dig more the song and studio footage montage thing. It suits O very very well.
