after tweaking for days i think my ears are pretty tired to judge anymore.... what do you think about the guitar sound?

gear:
old strings on a mayones regius baritone, emg 81, diezel herbert, vht with p90 miced with a sm57 (ripoff) and a md521 (which essentially is a md421 without the bass rolloff switch??)

triple tracked, L, slightly panned L and R ...

Guitar tone in and of itself is good, but it is very muddy.

Cab thump is pretty noticeable. Dark flavor yeah, digging it. Needs sculpting though.
