with the sheer amount of threads coming into the board, it's quite possible that i've missed a thread similar to this, but in case i haven't, i'm curious....

everybody has a band/cd or two that they SHOULDN'T like, but they do. for instance, i happen to really like Billy Joel, and a Swedish pop singer named Robyn (at least she's Swedish!)

anybody else?

I have...............Matchbox 20..............

And I like it, so there! :p

I also have SEVERAL cds that most of you would not approve of.

I own ALL of Bon-Jovi's records up to Destination Anywhere (not really bon jovi... tis a crap cd).

THESE DAYS is a great CD. Listen to 'My guitar lies bleeding', the middle section was STOLEN by tool. Can't remember which song.

Hey god is great too.

Richie Sambora is a decent player... great on their early stuff.

Another thing, which I am NOT ashamed of at all, is my Bruce-Springsteen cd collection. This man IS god.

The RIVER :headbang:

I have the first Dixie Chicks CD, heh heh... Also a Diamond Rio CD... I hate country music except for these two albums... I also have ALL of Tori Amos's stuff... Ashamed, no...

Shouldn't like? From what i know there aren't any rules of what
you should and what you shouldn't like!

I like mostly metal, but to mention one band, i would say Beatles.
They're damn good! Especially their later releases!

well...i have some nu-metal cd's that i love:

deftones- white pony (a fuckin good disc)
cold - thirteen ways to bleed on stage
coal chamber - s/t and chamber music
fear factory - demanufacture
ultraspank - progress (really good underrated band
scream 3 soundtrack
matrix soundtrack
end of days soundtrack

If we didn't have anything else than Heavy or Doom we would be utterly narrowminded. Therefore I'm the lucky owner of:

3 Michael Jackson cd's (Dangerous IS a brilliant album)
2 Incubus (why be ashamed of that ... they're groovy)
Shitloads of PEARL JAM and SMASHING PUMPKINS...
Korn
3 x Marilan Manson
3 x R.E.M.
3 x Dave Matthews Band
3 x The Cure
Creed

I am a bit ashamed of my Bryan Adams cd though

BTW BUY and I mean buy The Crow Score... not the soundtrack the Score. The coolest gothic moods

The Clay People
some old Yngwie CD's...
A bunch of butt-rock guitar shredder CD's (Vinnie Moore, Satch, Vai, Yngwie, Barrett Tagliarino, etc.)

These are bands (or albums) that for some odd reason I get bashed at for liking:

Staind
Deftones
Bush
Stoned Temple Pilots
Smashing Pumpkins
Hole
Nirvana
Metallica - Load and Reload
Helloween - Better than Raw
Fuel
Cold
Bob Dylan
Saturday Night Fever soundtrack
REM
A-Ha
Mr. Mister
Iron Maiden
Blink 182
Heart
Blondie
Fleetwood Mac
The Mamas and the Papas
Taproot
Delta 9 (trance hardcore)
Janet Jackson (Rhythm Nation 1814)

Holy shit, how could I forget my hip hop CD's!

Big Daddy Kane (best)
De la Soul (is dead)
Brand Nubian (All for one - this is the SHIT)
Eve (shitty)
Missy Misdemeanor (Hot Boys)
Bustah Rhymes
Queen Latifah
Tribe Called Quest

R&B
