Do you screen your calls?

I screen mine, especially when the number is 'Unknown'. Sometimes I will answer a number that looks familiar, but that's about it.

I let it go to voicemail and if the person wants to talk, they'll leave a voicemail. Otherwise, someone probably dialed a wrong number

Yes, I do. If it's not a number I recognize or it's not saved into my cell, chances are I won't answer.

What I really hate is when people call about my resume and they call from an unknown number and don't say where they work. I never call them back.

My stepmom accuses me of screening my calls every time I don't pick up the phone. Sometimes I honestly just miss the phone call!

But yeah, I usually screen my calls. I'll usually answer if the number shows up as unknown, because my curiosity will get the better of me, but for most other numbers I'm not familiar with, I just wait and see if they leave a message.

Nah. I enjoy the prospect of an unknown conversation.

One time, a man called me, but he spoke Spanish. I told him "I'm sorry, I think you have the wrong number." He said something again in Spanish. I said "English, I speak English." He kept talking, so I hung up.

He called again a few minutes later. I again said, "You have the wrong number. I can't understand you. English." This time he hung up.

He called again within a matter of minutes, still speaking fucking Spanish. I said, "Sir, I cannot understand you. I speak English." He kept talking, and I could hear laughing in the background. So then I shouted into my phone (pretty loud), "English motherfucker, do you speak it!?!" I think he got mad, probably partially because I screamed in his ear. He started speaking vehemently, and I could understand him saying "motherfucker" mixed with other things. I hung up. He didn't call back.

Can't screen my calls at home because I don't have caller ID dispay. But I make up for it at work! I almost never answer the phone. I even turned off the ringing sound.
