Do yourself a favor buy a Tbone RB100

Did try it either but I did use the RB500 for some guitar recordings and room mics and for the price it's really good, I guess the RB100 are good as well for the price. I planned to buy a pair but finally got an amazing deal for a pair of Cascade Fathead.

bought an RB700 derivate with a different brand printed on it. pretty cool, for almost no money.
didn´t use it on guitars yet, as i´m working on finishing the studio build, but it did capture hihat & ride nicely (the drummer´s got them hanging side by side)

i was even surprised about the signal levels it spit out, high enough to get a clean and noise-free recording with most decent preamps. it does prefer higher-Z inputs though (the medium & hi settings on a Focusrite ISA)
