does anybody else recognize this melody?

go to www.myspace.com/wildpath and listen to the song "Prophecies of Light and Darkness".....the intro/chorus remind me of something, and i can't figure out what, but i swear i've heard that exact same melody somewhere else before.

it does sound kind of familiar. On the other hand, I am sick of the bands who want a female vocalist to pick the most generically awful female vocalist they can find.
