Dunno if anyone here was part of the massive trolling of NevermoUre's forum. Those were good times. Immature, but good.

Didnt the guitarist jump to Arch Enemy?

He has a knack for playing in shit bands.

However, their music is better in a live setting. Saw em twice

I never dove into the Nevermore forum (that I recall) but it certainly looked like a lot of fun when I'd lurk on occasion. RC and that board were a bit incestuous at some point, aye? Can I still use that word in a jovial manner? Probably not.

I've never owned a Nevermore album, however, when someone plays them for me I typically have a good time. I don't know why I never got into them honestly, I was a Groove Metal Guy back in the '90s. Grip Inc, Fear Factory, Pantera, etc.

Its odd, there's certain bands that are sacrosanct. FFS I still have a fucked up right hand for bashing a Dimmu Borgir worshipping shitstain who flipped off Primordial at a gig 15 years back. (Not on my watch suh)

As much as I do enjoy Nevermore, I don't feel compelled to take the other side of the argument in the least. Maybe Zod or some autistic fanatics will venture over to answer the rallying cry.

I saw Nevermore on In Flames Clayman tour and on Opeth's BWP tour. They put on a good show, and like I said, sound much better live.

I didn't know you went to so many shows. I thought you were just the crotchety purist soaking music into your pores in a dank room and yelling at kids to get off your lawn since you were 25.

I used to in my college and early married days. Then somewhere along the way I took EVERYTHING way too seriously.

Then I got medicated, divorced, quit a soul sucking job, escaped a crazy ass bitch, and now I am the single dude who walks his dog all the time.

And I am okay with that.

There's a certain joy about returning to all of this in a later stage of life. I went to my first show in years in March of last year (right after I passed my comprehensive exams) and it was rejuvenating. Glad you're feeling better about life these days.
