Don't miss me too much...

Ok, I'll have to talk to you about it the next time we see each other. Seriously, I trust your guys' opinions and moving is an extremely important life decision and one I don't take lightly.

Sure, I can understand that. I mean, financially-speaking, it's going to be at least somewhat less expensive to live down there, but I couldn't ever imagine leaving the northeast (especially a vibrant, "alive" city like Philly) for the graveyard that is Florida. There's just no culture or anything down there. It's like people over the age of 70, Canadiens, and German tourists. Blech.

you know what else I recall from my childhood days in florida?? White vinyl belts. all the old dudes wore them, with their white shoes. of course, there are far more old women than old men, so a frequently seen sight is a caddy being driven by an old woman with blue hair who can barely see over the dashboard. The few old men live like sultans because they can have their pic of the old single women.

Given my current life situation, if my parents do decide to move down there, I may not have much of a choice though. I'm pretty much done with the insurance industry and I don't have the necessary education to command salary in other areas. Unless I work a full time crap job, get a tiny apartment and somehow afford night school at the same time, I'm not sure I have many options to stay in the area right now.

I certainly would miss many things about the area though - and the move wouldn't necessarily be "permanent", it would just be with my folks for a few years to get back on my feet. I'm definitely in need of some major changes - but if options present themselves that I haven't considered, I'll always listen.

does Plya have donkey shows?
No. Nothing like that. From a tourist perspective, it caters mostly to Candians, Germans and Italians. The tourist area is high brow, but inexpensive. It's a very nice balance. For instance, unlike Cancun, you are surrounded by puking 21 year olds. However, you can always find a happening bar to hang at. And in respect to the beach, you can rent a beach chair and an umbrella for $3, and have a waiter bring you buckets of beer all day, or you can walk a mile and practically be by yourself.

She might just have the most perfect rack I've ever seen.

I was going to say something along those lines. Chicks should bring this picture when they want boobic surgery.

Don't you listen to Rap? If so, you're forbidden from giving me shit regarding anything I listen to, where guitar is the primary instrument.

I'd rather listen to a bunch of crackhead gangsta's scratching a piece of plastic than Disturbed's guitars. :dopey:
