Your fucking HD fails when you start recording a band! GRR....
I have a quad G5 and the OS drive failed. Spent about 3 hours setting up the drum mics, hit the record button, everything is going ok to the metronome and I hear another clicking that isnt the metronome. Needless to say kernel panics followed. Its good it wasnt my data drive that I record to.. Now the whole day is shot to shit! Fuck.....

Yep been there. I didn't have a fucking OSX disc either!

So I had to wait for a new one (I had backups though) so I could re install on a new drive and get back to where I was.
