Yo, does anyone here listen to doom metal and or stoner rock?
Electric Wizard, Orange Goblin, and Kyuss are some of my favourites

How about you guys?

I just listened to Queens of the Stone Age's Lullabies to Paralyze for the first time. I must say it's the first album I've loved every song on in a looong time. Ghost Reveries was probably the last album that fit that bill. Now I see what all the fuss is about.

i like stoner doom some days. one of my playlists is comprised of Sabbath, Witchcraft, Electric Wizard, Om, Gallhammer... uh yeah, that's about it, not much.

I have been heavily into this style recently. Here is some good shit you should check out.

Spirit Caravan - Jug Fulla Sun (this album is one of the more memorable albums i've heard recently, massively under rated).
The Obsessed - Lunar Womb (Fantastic)
Candlemas - EDM & Nightfall
Paradise Lost - Icon
Monster Magnet - Spine of God (great stoner rock)

Nebula and Earthless. Actually, Earthless has Nebula members...
Actually, Nebula has/had members from Fu Manchu...

Roadsaw
Atomic Bitchwax (sort of) --> has/had Monster Magnet members
Spirit Caravan
St. Vitus
Unida

Plenty of others out there...

Local bands around here (check out their MySpaces if you want):

Eldemur Krimm (breaking up I think, too bad:(. They're fucking awesome!)
Ogre (also like to cover Rush every now and again:headbang:)
Scissor Fight (sort of)
Hell Wheel Drive (sort of)

some of my favs: hypnos 69, om, electric wizard, mammatus, paharaoh overlord, titan, yob, my sleeping karma, lento, earthless, circle, church of misery, causa sui etc.

ELECTRIC WIZARD
SLEEP
KYLESA
BARONESS
ASUNDER
AHAB
WEEDEATER
THE SWORD (OF DOOM)

I would call Kyuss desert rock like desert sessions and early qotsa. josh homme never really changed.

I guess if we're just listing doom bands...

Evoken
Esoteric
Ahab
Ocean
Paradise Lost
Ramesses
Skepticism
Buried at Sea

Giant Squid is sometimes referred to as stoner rock, along with post-rock, post-metal, and indie. I can not recommend their new album "The Ichthyologist" enough; I know it's only February but this might end up being my album of the year.

lets see:
Witchcraft
Sourvein
Ramesses
Khanate
Earth
Son of Otis
Orthodox
Burning Witch
Buried at Sea
Nadja
Weedeater
Ascend
Dead Meadow
Noothgrush
Spirit Caravan
KTL
Uffomamut
Wino
Las Cruces
Monarch
Dragonauta
Wall of Sleep
Moho
Place of Skulls
The Hidden Hand
Unearthly Trance
Electric Wizard
Winter

and so on, the shit I've been listening to these past 5 months.

enjoy
