Yo, does anyone here listen to doom metal and or stoner rock?
Electric Wizard, Orange Goblin, and Kyuss are some of my favourites

Just off the top of my head, going all stoner, Cathedral and Sleep I both absolutely love.

I just listened to Queens of the Stone Age's Lullabies to Paralyze for the first time. I must say it's the first album I've loved every song on in a looong time. Ghost Reveries was probably the last album that fit that bill. Now I see what all the fuss is about.

Warhorse is super heavy, even more so than EW, imo.

i like stoner doom some days. one of my playlists is comprised of Sabbath, Witchcraft, Electric Wizard, Om, Gallhammer... uh yeah, that's about it, not much.

Spirit Caravan - Jug Fulla Sun (this album is one of the more memorable albums i've heard recently, massively under rated).
The Obsessed - Lunar Womb (Fantastic)
Candlemas - EDM & Nightfall
Paradise Lost - Icon
Monster Magnet - Spine of God (great stoner rock)

Saint Vitus is one of the best. Reverend Bizzare is quite a good doom band also.
Then there is the legendary Pentagram. Any of those 3 are easily some of the best doom and stoner doom bands.

Giant Squid is sometimes referred to as stoner rock, along with post-rock, post-metal, and indie. I can not recommend their new album "The Ichthyologist" enough; I know it's only February but this might end up being my album of the year.
