Wouldn't you like to know
I'm sure some of you may be interested in this so I figured we'd post them so everyone could see.

The official UM fantasy football league drafted this morning. I'd say it was a success overall and about 3/4 of the people showed up so that was good. Here's my team in draft order:

Round 1, 7th overall: Tom Brady (QB)
Can you fucking believe it? I drafted Tom Brady with my first pick. If Mathias didn't pick Peyton Manning with the first overall pick, I may not have resorted to picking Tom. I thought about picking up a stud running back and letting it slide and possibly going for Romo on the turn, but I knew seedofvengeance was licking at his chops to pick Romo. I damn sure wasn't going to let someone else get him so...I had to.

Round 2, 14th overall: Terrel Owens (WR)

Round 3, 27th overall: Braylon Edwards (WR)

Round 4, 34th overall: Marques Colston (WR)
(this gives me arguably the best receiving corps in the league btw)

Round 5, 47th overall: Jamal Lewis (RB)
STEAL ALERT!

Round 6, 54th overall: Darren McFadden (RB)
Took a chance with him. I've heard nothing but good word so we'l lsee how it works out for me. I make up for it in the end anyways. :)

Round 7, 67th overall: Chris Cooley (TE)

Round 8, 74th overall: Thomas Jones (RB)

Round 9, 87th overall: Jerricho Cotchery (WR)

Round 10, 94th overall: Selvin Young (RB)

Round 11, 107th overall: Matt Forte (RB)

Round 12, 114th overall: Joey Galloway (WR)

Round 13, 127th overall: Kurt Warner (QB)

Round 14, 134th overall: Tampa Bay Defense (D)

Round 15, 147th overall: Tony Scheffler (TE)

Round 16, 154th overall: Ricky Williams (RB)

Round 17, 167th overall: Ahmad Bradshaw (RB)

Round 18, 174th overall: Lawrence Tynes (K)

All in all, I ended up with: 6 #1 running backs, 5 #1 receivers, 2 #1 tight ends, and a QB throwing to Randy Moss and Wes Welker with the easiest schedule in the league. Not a bad draft.

dude how did tom brady make it to #7? first 3-4 picks are the best RB's than it's like Tom and maybe moss/to

this is how I worked out, not in the right order at all but I was 5th out of an 8 person draft..

18. (171) Patrick Cobbs

Patrick Cobbs is just a UNT alum, that I decided to take with that irrelevant pick.

I dropped Pennington actually and picked up someone else since Steve Smith is out for the first two games.

I stayed away from Cincy players this year because the offense is going to be atrocious this year. I just picked up Chris Henry as he's going to be the starter until Ocho Cinco comes back. Chris Perry is going to be a dog if he stays healthy this year

I was kind of surprised at how fucking fast the good WRs went.

Round 1, 7th overall: Tom Brady (QB)

If TD's are worth 6 pts your team is even more insane.

Round 2, 14th overall: Terrel Owens (WR)

Round 3, 27th overall: Braylon Edwards (WR)

Round 4, 34th overall: Marques Colston (WR)
(this gives me arguably the best receiving corps in the league btw)

WOW...

Round 5, 47th overall: Jamal Lewis (RB)
STEAL ALERT! Wow

Round 6, 54th overall: Darren McFadden (RB)
Took a chance with him. I've heard nothing but good word so we'l lsee how it works out for me. I make up for it in the end anyways. :)

I hate this guy. I think he will not be productive at all.

Round 8, 74th overall: Thomas Jones (RB)

Will do good, don't care about poor preseason.

Round 15, 147th overall: Tony Scheffler (TE)

Love this guy, can't believe he went this late.

In the end I can't believe picking QB WR WR WR payed off. But I guess people don't like taking RB's.

Here is my team after some adjustment. I had one guy who was on IR and two guys on my bench who were not starters. I am not sure of the philosophy behind all of it, but it seems like it is better to have starters.

So, can we set specify who we want to get in a trade and who we are willing to part with? Kinda like a trade/want list? Or do deals have to be initiated otherwise?

I'm pretty sure you can specify who you want in a trade. I never did it last year, but I'm sure it works like how any other organization would trade players

In the end I can't believe picking QB WR WR WR payed off. But I guess people don't like taking RB's.

Yeah tds are worth 6 points. All 3 of my main receivers are td magnets too.

Concerning the running backs, I couldn't believe Jamal Lewis fell that low either. And McFadden is a pure prospect pick. He's a badass running back for sure so we'll see how well he does.

I thought my team would end up pretty mediocre but ended up being pretty pimp.
