And now they are asking that anyone interested in applying for the position do this:

1. Download the audition backing track:

‘The Last Journey Home‘ from the album ‘Ultra Beatdown’.

2. Record a video of yourself performing the chosen track live in full.

3. Upload your audition to a video hosting website.

See the instructions below for uploading onto YouTube. If you do not have a YouTube account, it is free to create one.
Alternatively, you can also use sites such as Myspace.com, Dailymotion.com, Vimeo.com.

4. Name the ‘Title’ of your video in the following format:
‘DragonForce Singer Audition – Your Name‘

Please set your audition video to be only viewable by us. Example: On YouTube, set the ‘Broadcasting and Sharing Options’ to be ‘Unlisted‘.

Or you can just send them an email with an attachment of your video.

This is just to nutty! It is a very interesting way to find a new member but just imagine the deluge they will have to wade through.
