Dragonforce????

Are all of Dragonforce's songs the same??? Intro , verse, Chorus, Verse, Chorus, (Jackoff guitar solos/breakdown) verse, chorus, outro?? Talented band but too "European/power metal" for me. Don't get me wrong, I like European "METAL" like Priest, Maiden, Helloween,, Opeth, etc... However, I guess Dragonforce is a bit much for my taste.

I can only listen to like 3 of their songs at a time. They pretty much play 3 minute long songs but add 3 minutes of guitar wankery which must be studio magic considering how average they are on every guitar video I've seen with Herman and Sam. I'm not saying I could do better or anything, but I've definitely seen much better.

But they are certainly a much better band than crap like Helloween and Kotipelto.

But it's definitely great that they are getting so much attention now. I'd much rather see their songs and videos all of the place than some gay metalcore/emo shit like As I Lay Crying, Atreyu, AFI and Bullet For My Valentine.

They are touring in the U.S. with All That Remains which seems like a mismatch of sorts....I want to see ATR, so I guess I may have to stick around and see some guitar neck masturbation from these guys. The last video I saw on HBB was just too damn cliche but it is good to see some more focus on shredding again after the nu-metal non-solo fad the last 5 years.

I've managed to see them live 3 times which is pretty amazing considering I think they are toss.
