If you could have anyone join your dream band who would it be?
Mine would be:

Lead Vox- Hansi from BG
Bass-John Myung
Drums-Martin Lopez

oooohhh

guitars - me
guitars - omar rodrigez (the mars volta)
guitars - mike (opeth)
guitars - trey azagthoth (morbid angel)
bass - les claypool
drums - martin lopez
vocals - toss up between mike from opeth and cedric from the mars volta

hmm, quite hard for me, and it's going to look silly because I don't know that many metal bands

Guitar-Peter Lindgren
Guitar-Lead guitarist from Nevermore
Bass-Bassist from Primus
Drums-Hellhammer
vocals-Mike Åkerfeldt

Me- Bass
Peter Lindgren (Opeth)- Guitars
Jari Mäenpää (Wintersun, Ensiferum)- Guitars
Gene Hoglan (Strapping Young Lad)- Drums
Janne Warman (Children of Bodom)- Keyboards
Cedric Bixler (Mars Volta)- Vocals

vocals - Mike
guitars - Jeff Loomis (Nevermore)
guitars - David Gilmour (Pink Floyd)
bass - Justin Chancellor (Tool)
drums - Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater)
keyboards - Steve Wilson

Vocals - Tubbs Mcgee (that's me!)
Vocals (2) - Mike the almighty Åkerfeldt (duh)
Guitar - Michael Romeo (Symphony X)
Guitar - John Petrucci (DT)
Bass - John Myung (DT)
Drums - Pete Sandoval (Morbid Angel)
Keyboard - umm... dont care probably Jordan Rudess (DT)

So basically me, 3 DT members, and 3 people from 3 different bands! The probability of this happening is like 1/10000000, but still, I think it would be the best prog-death band ever, hahahaha! By the way, I think the idea of having 2 lead singers in a band is excellent, and there are definitely not enough bands that do it. (none that I know of, actually.)

Vox/Rhythm guitars : me
Vox/Rhythm guitars : mike
Vox/rhythm guitars : James hetfiled
Lead guitar : Django Reinhart
Keys/Synth : Adnan Sami Khan
Bass : Sheehan
Drums : Portnoy

...........PEAC EOUT

Well, most "Hardcore" Screamo bands have two singers, and for the entirety of mallcore kids who think screamo is metal, I'd bet they'd tell ya a band like "UnderOATH" or something of that nature. Of course, both singers would have to be incredible at growling and clean vox if not, its a pure waste.

Exactly my point, thanks for clarifying that. I meant death/prog metal anyway. I don't want to brag, but my death metal voice is pretty damn close to Mike's. My singing can't compare, but I can still hold notes.

Well, this is a REALLY hard question..
Obviously, Opeth is my dream line-up but, otherwise...
I guess it depends on what kind of band I want:

For something really heavy (and still good):

Drums: Toss up between Gene Hoglan, Martin Lopez, Hellhammer, and Joey Jordison (bash Slipknot all u want, the man is a fuckin' MACHINE)
Rhythm Guitar: Devin Townsend
Lead Guitar: Probably John Petrucci, or maybe Carl August Tideman
Bass: ICS Vortex, or Steve DiGiorgio
Keys: If it had keys, Steiner Sverd Johnsson
Vox: Possibly Karl Middleton, Peter Dolving, or maybe Isahn. Or Mike, clearly.

For something less heavy, but still kinda heavy:

Drums: Martin Lopez, no question. Except for maybe this session drummer called Matt Chamberlain.
Bass: Chris Wolstenholme
Keys: Tori Amos
Rhythm guitar: Anders Nystrom, Matt Bellamy
Lead Guitar: Mike
Programming: Steven Wilson
Vocals: Steve, Mike, Matt and Tori can do harmonies :), with maybe Chris Cornell, Jonas Renske, Maynard James Keenan or just Mike on lead vox.

I'm sure I've forgotten lots of people I shouldn't have...

Guitars + Backing Vocals - me
Guitars - Dave Mustaine
Vocals - Mikael Akerfeldt
Bass - dude from Mudvayne
Drums - Martin Lopez
Keyboard - Someone awesome... I don't want to say Per and have three people from Opeth. I am sure there are better keyboardists than him anyway (no offense to Per, he is awesome himself).

Well, If the band in your sig is your band, I'd say you kick ass on guitar, except no vocals, so I cannot judge your vocals.

Drums - Gene Hoglan
Guitar/Vox - Karl Sanders
Guitar/Vox - Devin Townsend
Bass - Steve DiGiorgio
Lead Vocals - Peter Tagtgren

:D Well, you're probably thinking of the solos... yes this is my band's page but that's my brother on lead. I do all the ryhthms and fills. It's not my best work though, I can play guitar better than that (Just not better than my brother) I'm trying to make a song currently but my cords shiatzed the bed and I gotta get new ones before recording again.

Vocals/Guitars - Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth)

Vocals/Bass Guitars - David Vincent (Morbid Angel)

Guitars/Backing Vocals - Me (Roboreus)

Guitars/Backing Vocals - Peter Lindgren (Opeth)

Drums - Gene Hoglan (SYL)

Keyboards - Trollhorn (Finntroll, Moonsorrow)

It would be named Roboreus, after my current solo project. Please don't steal the name... I don't want to hurt anyone.
