Fifteen years since this masterpiece, boys and girls and it still holds up so well. Crying shame the guys who made it are no longer together and one of them sits in an airplane cockpit instead of making a living as a musician. There is no justice some times.

To mark the event (a little early, but I'm going to be busy with NAMM), I say kudos to you, Warrel, for sharing a painful moment in your life. That couldn't have been easy.

So let's set the wayback machine to 1999 for the DNB release party and note with amusement Tim's severe friz, no doubt from the Seattle rain, Loomis still with a 6 string and wonder WTF Warrel was thinking when he picked THAT outfit.

15 years later, this album is still at the very top of my list.

Usually, I listen to it non stop forabout a month during fall.
I don't know why, but the atmosphere goes very well along with the rainy automun evenings we have in Europe.
As the light fades away and the birds stop to sing, the water pouring down makes it feel like drowning into neon black.
At that moment, the more depressive the life is, the more it is worth living just for the sheer beauty of such profound emotion.

BTW, I assume that's Christine Rhodes who joined the band for DNB the song at the 43 minute mark?

Well i never made it to NAMM to see Jeff play. I'm going to give DNB a spin tonight.

Warrel, want to chime in on this notable day?

What kinda halfhead made this piece of shit image? I have no problem with the picture or message, but WHY IS THE TEXT ALL OUT OF WHACK AND TOUCHING THE TOP AND LEFT SIDE EDGES????! Makes my OCD go insane.
