Drowning Pool

[Deadpool X]

I know a lot of you may already be aware of this, and many of you may not like them, but Dave Williams, the lead Singer of Drowning Pool was found dead in his tour bus today. To me this was a fairly great, personal tragedy. This was a good new band who had just started to make it and had so much opening up in front of them, only to be cut short after one album.

Just in case someone out there needed to know.

I was really sad to hear this the other day. I met him a couple of times and we had some great conversations. He one of the nicest "rock stars" (whatever you want to call them) I've ever met. I think he had a lot of talent.

I personally couldnt stand that band, but its always sad to see a death in the world of rock.

Sympathies to his friends and family, but I hated the music.

Same. I didn't like the music, but that doesn't make him a bad guy who I should want dead. Although I only heard the one song so I can't even form a proper opinion on the band.

Although, if Fred Durst died that would be a different matter entirely...

I kinda liked that Bodies song, aside from that, not too much else. It is too bad, though

It's not a bad album, they had a fairly large legion of fans. I wonder how they all feel, and I wonder if they're gonna call it quits now that the singer's dead....

I didnt like their music, so his death is about as relevant to me as the death of any stranger. not saying I'm glad he's dead, just I've read about this everywhere, and as so many people die every day, this is (was) more or less just like another day. call me insensitive or whatever if you will, but surely you can see where I'm coming from.

Actually, according to 'The Gauntlet,' he did. IN HIS OWN VOMIT.

Supposedly, he got drunk, vomited, passed out, and choked to death on it.

So, his body hit da flo' and he drowned in a pool of vomit.
