when it comes time to track drums in the studio, im usually mic'ing and triggering each drum seperately. this gives me multiple sources to trigger into drumagog later. for monitoring during the session i like to load a sample for each drum and rum drumagog in low latency mode (simple, 1ms). i've always wanted to run it in live mode but it sounds so weird and i've never been able to figure out how to get it to function properly. my snare samples which usually have a good snap and perfect decay suddenly sound as if the snare was turned up side down and the drummer is smacking the shit out of the bottom snare and no snap!

i can't figure out the right settings to make it work like simple mode, and simple mode has latency so it would definately help if i could get live mode working, especially for faster material where 1 ms becomes the different between close to the click and half way between beats.
