DT coming to Australia

I was listening to Full Metal Racket last night (a metal program on radio) and they announced the Aussie tour dates for Dark Tranquillity. I cant fucking wait!!!

I dunno, I've heard quite a few rumours of it, so as much as i don't want to get my hopes up, I'm leaning towards believing it. However, i am waiting for an official announcement.

Im sure if there are rumours, then DT is talking with promoters or clubs about doing a tour, but it wouldnt be the first time those discussions didnt lead to anything. Wait until it's here just to avoid frustration

Yup. Nothing is *official* until we post it on the homepage.

It's 99.99999999% sure that it'll happen though, and the planning is already well advanced, but AFAIK some practical mumbo jumbo (Visa applications, flight tickets, impaled koala heads for the stage show etc) haven't been fully cleared, so we can't confirm it officially just yet even if some other parties already have leaked the information.

they've been to japan before (some time before character was released - if i remember correctly they played one thought for the first time there) but i don't think australia has had the honour yet.

If i recall correctly they've been more than once in Japan.
One thought was performed for the first time in the Italian mini-tour in 2003.
