Dumbest Girl.......EVER

I'm not "trying" for shit. Is it really that fucking hard for you guys to understand that being a woman in general is looked down upon?? Are you really that fucking airheaded with your heads up your fucking asses?? Women are still deemed a MINORITY FOR FUCK'S SAKE! WE SHOULDN'T BE CONSIDERED THAT WE ARE COMPLETELY AND ENTIRELY ON THE SAME LEVEL AS MEN. Not only are there just as many of us (if not more) but we are just as important, just as intelligent, just as HUMAN as men.

But no I'm just saying all this to upset myself, that's clearly all I want.

Not that I usually (ok ever) post, but for the sake of amusement I would like to point out that the term "minority" refers to a group within a category (group-women,category-gender) that's census data indicates they are not the predominantly occurring trait. aka, out of 300 million, if 149.999.999.999 of 300 million were female, they would still be a minority.
Secondly, if you're arguing the general populous' use of the term "men" in place of "human", let me ask why? Considering it is such a common term, do you seriously thing that the slight idiosyncrasy in terminology plays any role whatsoever in the subconscious influence of the human mind pertaining to inferiority or superiority of a gender? Little Bobby didn't learn men were better because he heard some guy on t.v. refer to the human race as "men", sorry hun.
Lastly, I absolutely disagree whatsoever pertaining to females being perceived as the inferior gender, you want to sell your product, you put a "babe" in your add, not a "hunk", because lets face it, men want to be with her and women want to be like her, why? because nowadays women are perceived as strong, when you think of male leaders, you think of failure, corruptibility, greed, and idiocy on the other hand, when you think of women, they convey the image of strength with beauty, passion with refinement, and everyone, men, women, children, and some plants (though that isn't clinically proven yet) practically worship the female form.

grammar Sheriff actually.:Smug:

Ummm No.

No? So if women ran the world and refered to you as boy (imagine you're older than you are right now.. you're still transitioning from boy to man) you wouldn't be in the least bothered by this? Not to mention all the other shit you'd have to deal with? More double standards, less pay, deemed a minority, seen as inferior, seen as weak. No you'd be cool with it, right? Oh and if you said anything or ever got upset about it you'd be told to stfu and go bake some cookies.

Actually he doesn't and we've been friends for a couple years now... So sorry I'm bringing up the old taboo topic of women wishing they were treated with the same respect as men are. I mean, nagging.

What annoys me is that you think the concept of women being mistreated is universal everywhere in the world. It isn't. Even though you want to believe it, not all men are out to get us. I'm 22 and don't find girl offensive at all, neither do I find chick, bird or female offensive. I suppose things differ for us considering we're on different sides of a huge country, but either way, you need to get fucked, literally and figuratively.

:erk:

Well, since every single commonly used term for a woman is one you find derogatory, I suggest you quit nitpicking over which one we use here, because it doesn't fucking matter.

Yes, many of them are derogatory, that is a fact it isn't just my opinion---It is the opinion of many. However, it's also in the way you use it. Using the terms "chick" or "broad" or "female" complacently is entirely different from just refering to all women as "chicks", "broads", etc. For example, my boyfriend used to call me "good looking female" as a pet name. If he really referred to me just as female of course that would piss me off, but it was done teasingly and intimately because I know he knows my name.

Get it? If you know a woman's name use it, not "broad" unless you are teasing her and she knows it. It's just common decency...

I was referring to the Boy comment only. None of that other crap.

Boy, Man, Dude, Not-A-Girl, Guy....all the fucking same to me. If the word gets the point across the I am a member of the gender group with a penis I do not care what it is.

One thing behind the "inferior women" stereotype that may as well be pointed out here is that most women are physically inferior to men. This is why sports are segregated by gender, why most men walk their female friends home at night, and why it's a taboo for men to physically fight a woman.

Just thought I'd throw that out there.

I didn't think anybody used the term 'broad' to refer to women anymore. I'm more partial to the term 'cunt'.

I wonder what her IQ is...

and another note: How the hell did this become gender related? Are we supposed to make an excuse for her -because- she's a girl? Shouldn't we instead be gaping at her awesome stupidity and communally ostracizing her for bringing such shame on everything she represents? Not that I'm a huge fan of ostracizing, so lets skip that, and wonder, if you were her agent, would you let her up on stage? If you were here agent, would you have even wanted to BE her agent, I mean, lets face it, she's pretty, but she's not jaw dropping gorgeous, on looks alone, I'de say she could be easily beaten.

I DO NOT think men are always out to get us. Yes it's true in many cases still they are, however I've never said here or ANYWHERE that I believe that to be true, and I've said many times here that I have no beef with men in general. I love humans in general it's just that our society has in the past(and still if anyone wants to argue that sexism is dead then get in line after those who claim racism is dead) doesn't mean I'm some misanthrope... not entirely.

I'm trying to get people here to understand calling women in general those terms is stupid unless you are just joking. But you don't call them those things only when you're joking. You call them by "bird" or "chick" without thinking, because it's ingrained in you and you think NOTHING of it. All I'm asking is you do think something of it.

And to that LordLucifer-something-or-other: You're way off, and I never said anything about using the root word "man" in "human" as degrading. I dont' think it is. It's historical is all. Of a time when men were the only ones who ever had the right to say anything of worth and create....well, history.

I don't even know what your point is anymore. Are you even referring to an example of such usage on the boards? It sounds like you're just creating an issue where there wasn't actually one in the first place.

How odd.

She's a product, it's plain and simple... I think everyone here who's been a teenage girl :)erk:) knows at least a little how easy it is to go "down the path" that South Carolina has, especially if you are pretty, have been spoiled, or are an attention seeker. You are constantly, constantly bombarded with magazines, ads, TV shows, everything telling you how important your looks are and how great make up, fashion, popularity, and money is. I wouldn't blame her entirely for the way she is, she's a product of America, I know that sounds so fucking preachy but I believe it's true. More and more young women are turning into Little Miss South Carolina's.

Cara, use your energy to care about something that actually matters. I went and talked to some of the girls I know about this and none of them agree with you. None of them care. Girl, Woman, Lady, Gal, Broad, Fucksleeve, it's all the same to them.

There are men out to get women? Where? You are aware that "out to get" is an active, and not passive, description, right? Are you saying that there are people out there actively trying to suppress women?

THE MIDDLE FUCKING EAST.

Also, that leader who was just sentenced...of the polygamus sect Fundamentalist Church of Latter Day Saints. He brainwashed women into thinking it was their duty to be open to men whenever they wanted them, to obey their every command. It was also deemed that the better man you were, the more wives you could have, and the number of wives you coudl have was determined by him, the leader. This is just in America, and they are still active.

You haven't heard of the case that is going on right now in which the 14 year old girl was married to her 19 year old cousin by this man?

They've been called these things their whole lives. Except perhaps fucksleeve.

Figure it out yourself.

The point was that "bird" or "chicky" don't have preprogrammed meanings of inferiority anymore either.

Simply put, what is so wrong with a certain percentage of women enjoying the posessionalization of themselves via such words, just as another certain percentage will stand up and tell men to bite it when they call them by such a name, people are different and react differently, don't love "humans" because they are human, thats stupid and just as stereotypical as saying you'll love only white people because they're white... how about... I love *insert name here* because of what makes him/her different?

About the whole "call my by my name thing", everyone has a name, everyone can be called by it, but if a person is calling you "chicky", wouldn't you have to assume there is a reason behind it, like not knowing your name and attempting to be nonabrasive by using a commonplace term that exemplifies desire for lack of formality (intimacy)?

You guys have brought me to the brink of tears. I can't believe you would deny every single thing I've said in this thread. I feel sick, my head hurts, I am done for the night.

That's their own damn fault for not thinking for themselves.
