"Eaten" video from DVD

Well everyone can have a bad growl day, happens to the best of them, but he probably has been losing some of his vocie because I do not think they would not use a bad perfromance on a dvd.

Since he sounds like that in both 2008 recording and 2010 recordings, its a bit disturbing and gives a feeling its more than a bad growl-day.
But maybe he sounds like that at the end of tours, and can get back in shape for studio-times. Hope thats the case.
In any case, I guess its just a matter of a few years until he puts his growling lungs on the shelf and calls it a day, focusing on cleans.
Will be a sad fucking day.

Yeah that's what I said, if it had been a bad growl they they would not have used it for a dvd.

That's what I thought too

'at the end of tours'

No way man... Remember, the 'tour' they did in 2010 was only 4 or 5 festivals. If his voice fucks up after so few shows, he should get the fuck out of death metal to be honest :erk:

you like volbeat so stfu and die :)

Volbeat are danish *epic proudness and shits* :)

The studio versions sound awesome, he's growl is really good in Watershed, but he's best growl was at the Wacken Carnage and Ghost Reveries era, he even himself said he was feeling really great about his voice in general during the Ghost Reveries recordings.

And I think you people are exaggerating a bit, it still is much better than 95% of growlers out there, it's just not as good as before.

When I listen to this new video I really can't be sure if it's him trying to sound dif or his throat is tired.
