"Eaten" video from DVD

Dan should rejoin Bloodbath do fulltime vox for them
His guest vocals on Ordered Eastward by Hail of Bullets are by far the best growls ever in the history and future of mankind (and robots) :)

btw I had the impression that Mikes voice was pretty awesome when they played last year at Rock Hard

:)

Checked out Ordered Eastward by the way. You're right, he sounds fucking awesome on the track!!! :kickass:

Doesn't come close either to Akerfeldt neither Peter Tagtgren at their best, not even close.

I think Dan's part in the Hail of Bullets song is fucking awesome. Close to Mike's best vocals, can't really compare to Peter because it's a pretty different style of growl. Dan has a really powerful voice imo.

On the topic of the OP, good lord those were some horrid vocals on that video... O_O

I really hope he was sick or just worn out at that point or something. TFM vocals were a gigantic step back from UTP vox, which fucking crushed. One has to think maybe he's losing it or something? Weird though cause his growls on Watershed (even though it sucked) were pretty damn good.

DVD arrived today, just got through the interview and the majority of the performances.

I don't want to "beat a dead horse," as they say, but some of the songs - vocally speaking - sound laughably bad...even worse than Eaten.

Despite the fact that Mike was actually sick during Party.San, he sounded far superior. It's a bummer in itself because you can tell he's struggling through the performance.

Regardless, the band sounds fantastic for both sets and the interview, artwork, and Unblessing the Purity tracks from Party.San make it a decent purchase.

I really hope Mike got his voice back in shape for whatever death vocals show up on the new Opeth record and his part on Deconstruction.
