I think Cheiron was the only one that was really crowing about this disc.

It's fantastics old school melodic prog ala Dreamscape. The also throw in sax and a string quartet. The only thing that is holding them back is their lack of a permanent vocalist (they use 4 different guests).

Essential for the warm & fuzzy crowd.

Check out "Leaf Motif" first:

I finally got my hands on this album. Very very solid debut. I agree with Glenn, give them a permanent vocalist and they'll go far.

I think they're the only band out of Venezuela that I've ever heard (within our genre). Real quality stuff indeed.

If the band chooses one of the 4 vocalists to be their permanent one, I'm not sure which one I'd prefer them to have. They are all very good. If I was putting together a progmetal band, I'd probably be asking one of these singers, as they all are better than what I'm hearing coming out from other new progmetal bands, and many older ones.

This band also needs somebody to help lyrically, as too often they used predictable rhymes, and somewhat cliche lyrics. However, they write good vocal melodies, and the instrumentals are outstanding, highlighted by the sparse, but always intriguing, solo. I hope the band gets back to work soon and puts out a new album within a year, as they are showing incredible promise for the future.

For me, Echoes and Heart of Cygnus are the leading contenders for the next truly great progmetal bands.
