Hi guys, albeit this forum being metal mostly, I want to present some technique used by the band U2, by The Edge to be more specific.
The reason I show this is because it displays some interesting technique regarding live delay and recording it, possibly more organically than the same effect achieved by slipping a dual track just a bit.
It also features a brief overview of his use of his pick, to get a better attack. People actually claim to this indeed changing a big part of the tone.
