Thing is, the biggest difference between mac and pc are the core routines that are better suited for graphic work and the OS - 80686 based processors are not shitty

nope - the reason why windows sucks is because it was half arsedly done, without worrying about testing. That's why the 98 generation was discontinued.

Windows NT is good though.

Im agreed with Killer Vergón, The 98 is the worst OS ever,

Frozen windows , tons of virus and not a good distribituion of the resources :S

I haven't tried NT. But, seriously, i've used everything from '95 through '98 to XP, and it all sucks the same. XP just has a nicer GUI.

XP is windows continued from windows NT. And it doesn't have a nicer gui, I'm glad I can use the other one. It's much faster and more stable, and much better than linux for instance.

Well, Linux is similar to Solaris, and Windows>Solaris, so yea.

And i agree: Windows was indeed made halfassedly. And it copied Mac. And it's a terrible copy.

true. There are two reasons I don't use mac though:
1) Not many programs and games
2) $$$$$$$$$$$$
