Engl fireball 100 vs pod hd300

This i time i gave it a couple minutes to sound similar, iknow you can probably dial the amp and pod better but thats not the main reason i did this test, was unhappy with my last comparison and i think this is more fair.
btw it's still the hd300 model so even if i have the preamp signal from pod the sound still changes when i change cab.

Eq is different, with the same settings, pod did't even sound near. (probably because "specially voiced live cab"
I have used the same impulse on both clips.
One guitar track and no post eq.

They are totally different from each other I don't get the point of even comparing them. The real amp recording has so much more low mids (its a good thing) than the pod recording, match them more similarly and then see what happens.

i think you could eq the pod a little better by it's own, but you still need post eq to sound alike, maybe with hd500 without live cab it's possible.
