It's not bait man, I just don't like being called out for nothing, so if you are going to call me out give examples, because I surely could for anyone I call out.
As far as your EDIT, the one, and ONLY reason you guys get back, because as much as you all would like to not believe, the one thing about running a large forum I hate most is baning people. Unfortunately, most times users don't give me a choice whether it's their behavior with others or their avoidance of simple rules. I always, and yes multiple times, give folks another chance.
Here's something that I recently posted in another forum, maybe it will click with at least someone in here:
nobody else thought usernamedeleted was funny? you all gotta lighten up, its the internet for fuck sakes.
My response: You know (and this is nothing personal to you postername) I rely despise comments (excuses) like this any more. The Internet, and more to the point forums like this, is a place to come and discuss topics of like interest with other people,
real people. I never understood the whole concept of, "Oh, if I say I am going to kill you or f**k your Mom I don't mean it, it's the Internet!"
Some folks view the Internet as one big place you can come and act like a total ass of a human being towards other people. News flash, a lot of us act and say things
here that we would
also do face to face with someone in the real world. We reply to others knowing there is a real person on the other end. We don't pretend to be someone we're not or say things that we don't mean, or wouldn't say to someone in person. A lot of people
SAY they would in real life, but I'm calling their bluff and absolutely saying they would not (because many folks would find their teeth kicked through the back of their insensitive heads if they talked in real life like they do on the Internet/forums).
Being that it
IS the Internet, we don't see what some other people may be going through in real life on the other end. You don't know that something totally unnecessary and uncalled for (that you may think is a joke) could be taken too literally and actually affect that person on the other end. It's easy enough most of the time to tell when someone is joking with someone but more often than not, I see some pretty nasty stuff said to others on forums. People need to re-learn what it is to respect others; as well as other opinions. You don't have to like someone on here, but at least respect them by not replying with holier-than-thou nonsense. A lot of people have become desensitized as to what it actually means to have a little dignity when it comes to others.
Anyways.... back to posting. And V5, thank you for what you said above and I appreciate it. I was going to PM you a thanks, but I will say it right here because I haven't seen you make a statement like that before.
