I have yet to hear From the Ashes. Is it possible to get some mp3s from the finished product yet? Is the "new material" the From the Ashes album or is there a fifth album the band has ready as well?

It seems like a lot of people reading here haven't heard this band yet and are very curious. If you like bands like Savatage, Queen, Dream Theater, and Shadow Gallery, this will definately be up your alley. I'd HIGHLY recommend all readers of this post hunt down The Edge. You will not be disappointed.

Yes the new one is "From The Ashes" . However I'm sorry to say that there isn’t any final recording yet.
You can listen to sample tracks that were recorded by the old members just before the break up.
The new members are still learning the tracks and adding in allot of their own touches.
Plus a new song has been written for it as well Which looks to be one of the best tracks on the album.
.
I will say this it's going to be much different than the live demo of it was. The band does hope to be in the studio by Feb.
So we will see what happens.

Thanks for the kind comments man.
Take care

Peoria is about 3 hours south. I actually went to school at Bradley University. Peoria, IL is where I first heard Eternity X.... back in 1998 when I was a freshman in college. I find it strangely ironic that the band's home base is now there. I used to have a progressive/power metal radio show on campus and everything.

I would love to arrange something some time. I could see if Matt (DTJesus) would care to join me with my friend Ben and his girlfriend Abby sometime. I'd love to meet the band. We could all go out for drinks in Big Al's or something

Ya know... there's a place called Durty Nelly's in Palatine, IL that would be a great place for the band to do a show at! I think the crowd would be very receptive to Eternity X style kind of music. They have a large stage, low key environment, and great sound. Maybe you guys could do a few local gigs. There's the Pearl Room in Mokena, IL as well that would be a great fit. And hey, what about JJ Kelly's in Lansing, IL.

Just a few ideas to share...

Well dude drop me an e-mail sometime jeremy@eternity-x.com and we will see what we can work out. The band is still learning some of the stuff. Plus Keith isnt here. He won't arrive until January. But you could still meet the others for sure and see what we can do about getting Keith here.

Take care

Sorry dude, but she's right. Baptized might be a Top 10 EtX song, but Day in Verse is a Top 10 song in all of progressive music.

"And it will be okay, things will be all right tomorrow ... after all, we made it through yesterday."
