Hoping you could help me out with some silly questions
)
I'm getting some new overhead mics soon, probably Shure KSM141.
They can do the cardioid and omnidirectional modes.
I know you mostly use a lot of mics when recording overheads, but I still wonder if you've ever perfered to record cymbals with omnidirectional modes when only using a stereopair?
Also, I read you use to mic the ride from the underside..., do you phase-invert this signal?
